I Think Therefore I Am

I think therefore I am,
my mind is never in a jam.
I am not averse to difficulties,
I perceive them to be opportunities.
My thoughts are radical, my actions practical!
My peers think I am crazy and cynical!
It doesn't faze me a bit,
bcoz my ideas in the end are always are a hit.
I think that i am unique,
I am my biggest critic.
Perfection they say is hard to attain,
I believe its something once got, hard to retain.
The drive to exceed is ingrained in me,
its present in all I do, its easy to see.
My mind is a reservoir of ideas like a dam,
I Think Therefore I Am.

A Long Walk Home

The path is dusty, my mind is rusty.
the sun beats down on my bare head,
its 3 in the afternoon and it seems everything is dead.
I walk a lonely road, the only one that i have ever known,
i know where it goes, but the destination seems far on the horizon.
My mind tells me that I may be going round and round,
but my heart tells me to go ahead without a sound.
The road never ending I continue to pound with my feet,
the hope is that my destination I will meet.
The sun sets and still I continue to roam.
my heart tells me its A Long Walk Home!!

The Right Way

Night and day, we look for the right way,
its the path you choose and you have the final say.
Right and wrong you will meet,
troubles and joys you will equally greet.
But if you walk down the right street,
the whole world will bow down at your feet.
The path you choose will matter the most,
be careful or everything will be lost.
The right way is always tough to follow,
not finding it might be a bitter pill to swallow.
Blessed are those who find the right way.
they are the ones who are happy to this day.
and so its up to you i say,
night and day, look for the right way.

Blessings Unlimited

They say where there is a will, there is a way,
you can be young even when you are going gray.
Phases in life we pass through and grow,
and there are experiences on which we draw.
Life is a great lesson in practicality,
for heavens sake man, this is reality.
People come and go, but you can't stop,
Its like people getting down from the bus at their respective stop.
We realize life is precious,
the use of which should be judicious.
Life is a very rewarding experience,
its major reason for our existence.
Think of life as the gift you most wanted,
you will then live life with blessings unlimited!!

The truth chronicles

Across the street,
a heart ceased to beat.
I heard people cry,
my mind asked me why?
do people die of thinking of the day they will die,
and not live life and try.
To think of what will happen to me,
why dont we let these things be??
The fact of the matter is that death,
catches up with the best of the best.
It spares no one, takes everyone,
someday or the other we all will be gone.
I guess we should remember and not let the truth in the life cause a dent,
just live for the moment!!

Whats the rush

In this sea of humanity,
there is a fair degree of insanity.
Crowds moving all the time,
crashing into each other but not caring a dime.
Lost in these crowds are many of us,
queuing up everywhere to catch the bus.
Few stand out in this rowdy lot,
because they want to do things as they want.
While the people around them move, they seem to stand still,
there are a very few people who fit the bill.
Never flustered, never they miss the bus,
they seem to ask the world, whats the rush!!!

Think of the mind

When the thoughts u have go astray,
and not in your mind do they stay.
They want to burst out of your mind,
some of them are not really very kind.
But the mind is under your control,
its the one with the most important goal.
To make you think well,
and make your ideas gel.
With your mood playing many games,
its your mind that calms and tames.
You need to thank your mind,
for not putting you in a bind.
and directing you to the path of safety,
from the perilous moments of insanity.

Sun rises everyday

The earth rotates, moves fast,
one day can only for 24 hours last.
The next day brings new ideas in its way,
the sun rises every day.
To unleash a new lease of life,
and to remove any darkness which is rife.
in your life you will see,
that problems aplenty are there in front of thee.
Make the sunshine the weapon in this war,
to move your problems away and far.
And make your thoughts see the light of day,
enjoy the sunshine in your life everyday.
Remember when the darkness is on its way,
the sun shines every day!!

Mind over Matter

Forget all the chatter, dont wonder how,
Mind over matter, do what you can now.
Stand up to your troubles, be strong,
you need to survive, this life is very long.
To give up is cowardice,
Life is like a game of dice.
The odds and evens alike,
joys and sorrows strike.
take it all in your stride,
Live your life with a sense of pride.
Friends of yours may always betray,
your trust at any time of day.
Don't feel sad for they are not true,
and you are set for better things too.
For its in this world that all our tasks are done,
lives are led and hearts are won.
Forget all the chatter, dont wonder how,
mind over matter, do what you can now.

Game Over

The game isn't over till the last men fall,
and on the other side everyone stands tall.
Play the game hard, give no quarter and expect none,
Its about winning, being nice is just not done.
Play it hard, play it true,
dont miss your chances or you will rue.
Your mistakes today will affect you here,
be careful or you could shed many a tear.
For the game of life is a never ending one,
once you are dead, only then its done.
have no fear, even if you have a setback,
you can always bring it back on track.
Its not over till the fat lady sings.
the game is over only when the bell in your life rings!
and the gods smile and flowers on you they shower,
they tell you, come here son, its game over!!

"Shout for joy"

Leap high, aim for the sky,
Be happy, shout for joy.
Good and bad u will encounter,
all of them you will have to face and counter.
To become a person tougher and stronger,
who is willing to fight harder and longer.
To convert his chances in life,
and to always excel when in strife.
But a good human being he must be,s
as life is not always about victory.
Its about loving and being loved,
as sooner or later into this world u will be shoved.
All those moments of joy and happiness,
will keep u away from insanity and craziness.
These memories of these moments will always make u try,
to leap high and aim for the sky,
Be happy, shout for joy!!

"Education"

Knowing how to read and write and graduation they say is education,
but alas they dont know the real situation.
A million facts in my mind, I will still be uneducated,
if i cant see how they can be related.
Education was designed in such a way,
to make our ideas see the light of day.
But all it does is build barriers,
beyond which our thoughts have no carriers.
Education, they say leads to liberation,
I say it becomes a main cause of frustration.
Education to me doesn't restrict itself to classroom sessions,
its about living your life and learning your lessons.
For the greatest education is what life can provide,
for its where you live and learn with pride!

"Life"

Life, full of surprises, paradoxes,
its all about horses for courses.
Look at the mirror in the morning and u will see,
what is is that u r trying to be?
Are you living life the way you wanted,
or for others because they would feel enchanted.
Look at the mirror again,
does it reflect what you have lost and cant regain?
Or does it show you all happy and gay,
and that u r getting better every day.
That mirror on the wall can never lie,
you will see only what u try.
To see what u want to see in that mirror,
u must live life without any fear.
The mirror on that wall will then seem
to tell you what u did was right and that it was not a dream.

"Time"

It runs, it runs, never stands still,
while u stand there hoping u r not run of the mill.
Time, that part of life that always,
by gods grace moves at a fast pace.
If it stands still,
it becomes hard to kill.
If it moves fast,
seems extremely hard to catch.
Time can catch u off guard,
and make life very hard.
But time it seems is moving at its own pace,
because it seems to be running a never ending race.
