"Friends"

What are friends? I ask god,
he says they should be like peas in a pod.
But, I ask, do they all look the same?
he says, true to form, only in name!!
They are different in different dimensions,
but alike during all situations.
They laugh, they cry, they share, they swear,
well friendship has its fair share of wear and tear.
But it keeps going like a well oiled clock,
it keeps on ticking till you shut it off.
I say everyone should have friends for life,
because they can be your strength during your period of strife.
As i let my imagination run free,
I ask myself, if it werent for my friends where would i be?

"The Memory Remains"

The good, the bad, the ugly, thoughts that surround
your mind and make it swirl around.
They push you to the brink,
but boy they sure make you think!!
For what is life without a thought,
for here is where all your ideas are got.
Brilliance, they say is pure genius,
but i say anyone can be one if he thinks serious.
For our mind is like a gold mine,
you never know which nugget will come out and shine.
For even when our life drains,
our thoughts stay here and the memory remains.....

"Remember"

When your mind goes blank, when you cant blink,
All of a sudden it seems that you just cant think.
Remember, recall, life is a journey, a voyage,
its very real, its not a mirage.
Divine intervention might be hard to come by,
but a spark of inspiration is not far if you try.
For a man can learn to swim only if he enters the waters and not wait on the shore,
for the opportunity to do more,
and in the end see your chances go up in smoke,
and you end up saying, that lucky bloke.
But amidst all the highs and lows, blows and hits,
Remember, recall, life is a journey, a voyage,
its for real, its not a mirage.

"Love Of Life"

They say as the older we grow,
the lines on our faces begin to show.
But the spark in our eyes will never be missing,
and we will always be alive and kicking.
For the love of life should never fade,
and we should take our happiness to the next grade.
As in life many phases we do see,
we laugh, we cry, we pray and try,
shout for joy; hey man take it easy!!
We live life by the book,
but we never give it a second look.
And live life by our own accord,
this I say is for the record,
The most difficult thing in life to do,
To love life and live it like the way you want to do.

Learn to fly!!!

Learn to fly my friend.
But u will do it only if u try,
leap high and aim for the sky.
U will at least get the stars for your effort,
but your mind will always support
your actions for u aim high
and tell u to go ahead boy
give it your best shot
and later dont rue an opportunity lost.
For opportunity knocks at your doors once,
Not opening the door will be a missed chance.
Its better that u try and even if your efforts fail and you cry,
you will still feel that u did learn to fly!

Life is like the ocean

Life is like the ocean, it has its highs and lows,
like the ocean with its ebbs and tides.
They say the ocean is a vast expanse,
Life is similar is my response.
Every drop of water makes up the ocean,
the same way life is poetry in motion!
Different waters mixed in the ocean but still its saline,
just like sorrows and joys in life all align;
to make life a beautiful joy ride,
and makes it like the ocean during the tide.
The ocean seems to stretch forever and it makes me feel,
that life is as dream which is for real!!

Strength OF Mind

It takes 10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated power of will, 5% pleasure, 50% pain and a 100% reason to remember the name.
He is not just another face in the crowd,
he wants to be heard be it alone or in a herd.
He isn't like any one of us,
he is special so he wants to tell us.
There is nothing extraordinary about him when you look at him,
but he has that quiet look in his eyes which tells us not to challenge him.
For he isn't afraid to take us on,
and beat the shit out of us and move on.
To grab the next opportunity that comes his way, achieve all that he wants and tell us nay,
that we can't hold him down for long,
coz one day he break through this hold very strong; and reach the heights which we can only dream, and be known as the cream of the cream.
So my dear friends be aware of him, and his strength of mind,
coz if u don't take care u will be paid back in kind.
